Story Behind The Song

I was backstage visiting with T Graham Brown and Verna Riddles asked me to write a song for Gary Morris to sing about child abuse. I wrote the song, however, it didn't fit Gary Morris, so I kept it and recorded it myself.

Song Description

Song about the sad consequences when parents or others abuse children. Many are Scarred For Life, some end up dead. Scarred For Life tells the story about a father who hit his son and the son ends up dying as a result.
