1.The Anthem* : A stirring orchestral piece-
(Overture from ?Daughter?-A Rock Opera by Charles Harter)
2. Conversations* : An instrumental which features a ?conversation? between an acoustic guitar and double tracked electric guitars-
3. Sultana Monday: An up-tempo driving latin instrumental.

4. Sunshine Holidays: A nostalgic 50?s piece of fun (Jingle) with close 4 part harmony.
5. No Reason*: A slow blues rock song.
6. Feelings: A lyrical solo piano instrumental version of a song from the musical ?The Seven?
7. Dog Walking: An uptempo instrumental in a blue grass style featuring a Violin and Mandolin.
8. West coast* A broad sweeping instrumental with a stirring theme played on electric guitar with piano backing. (and bongoes)
9. On the beach*. A light jazz instrumental featuring guitar, saxophone (sampled) and flute. (and sea waves breaking!)
10.On a better day*: A fun song with a cheeky lyric and a reggae feel.
11. Glass* Double tracked ?clean? electric guitars define this instrumental.
12. Tall trees: Introduction to one of the 50 children?s songs recorded with my sister. Features soaring flute. And then a little piccolo piecefrom another .
13. I meant to say to you*. A softer soulful song-

14. On a hot day. Instrumental . Featuring acoustic guitar in a Spanish style.

15. I?m back.* Instrumental break from a song which features some haunting flute. And then a bell like coda to an original children?s song.

16. If you can?t say nothing nice*- hard rock: almost a punk song!

A brief musical history:

In the last 30 years:

Have performed in cover bands, solo, and duos - folk, rock , blues, country?

Released an album of original songs in the 70s with a band ?Haystack?

Have written and produced 10 major full length musicals, 6 one act musicals , 8 children?s musicals and 2 rock operas. All works have had public performances and many have won national awards. Many have been performed by schools and drama societies in New Zealand and England.
(These works provide a huge source of strong melodies in a wide range of styles from classical to rock, from comic to nostalgic, from dramatic to novel, both vocal and instrumental!)

Released a studio version of songs from ? Sometime Sunday?-(an award winning one act rock opera) in the 80?s with Shoestring Theatre company.
(a company I formed to develop and present my musicals)

Studied composition at Victoria University of Wellington - as well as couterpoint and harmony.
In the last 5 years:

Worked professionally as a Session musician playing flute, mandolin, violin , acoustic and electric guitars.

Set up my own home recording studio.

Wrote, arranged and recorded 12 original songs and distributed them on a CD.
(Received national acclaim and airplay)

Arranged , recorded and produced two CD?s of about 50 children?s songs-
(selected from all around the world and including originals) (With my sister). Very popular in the Montessouri network.

Currently completing my second album and developing material to promote my music.
I am intending to establish a career in the music industry.

My primary aim is to establish myself as a versatile and reliable composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist who can work under great time pressure.(I always have!)
I also wish to promote my songs, via taxi and intend to continue to grow as a singer/ songwriter.
