Monday to Friday all work no play
Weekend comes, I got no shame
I give my daddy half the blame, for singin' Hank the whole damn day
Then like he's tryin' to make things right
He'd play Bo Diddley half the night

Bridge
It's the perfect combination, a natural celebration
Ain't no exaggeration, it's all across the nation

Ch
So clap your hands like you don't care
Stomp your feet if you dare
If you're gonna sing along
Sing it loud, don't get it wrong
Cause I ain't never gonna stop
My country rolls, my Country rocks

V2
All week long I drive this truck
Stereo crankin' Country songs
Friday nights I hit the clubs
Man I love to strut my stuff
I ain't never gonna stop
My country rolls, my Country rocks

Bridge
It's the perfect combination, a natural celebration
Ain't no exaggeration, it's all across the nation

I really like this one, great beat and I love the lead guitar solo. I really like the way the song is recorded and how the vocals are out front. The drums sound great and so do the hand claps. The singer sounds a whole lot like Luke Bryant.

Cool concept
really great playing.
that guitar solo was fantastic

Super cool country hook that you'll want to crank up while you're drinking beer and grilling in the backyard. Takes you back to the '90s when real country was king.

Boy...if that's you singing...that's the EQ for you voice...if it's not you...it's certainly Pappy Johnson...yes?

Songs begins with an excellent lead guitar intro, nothing flashy, all substance, great feel, emotion and tone. The drums are a little different from what you would expect in this genre, but that adds to the originality of the song. The song has a great upbeat feeling, it can lift your mood. The lyrics are clean and deals with an appreciation for one's family, heritage, and upbringing especially in the area of what is entertaining or entertainment. It has that quality of "I know where I come from, I know who I am and I know where I'm going" The Bass and Drums are a bit too dominant and can be pulled back a bit allowing the other instruments to feature some more. Great work!

Great "Bo Diddley" like groove throughout the song. Interesting that Bo Diddley is referenced in the first verse. Song is very clever, very well produced and written. Lyrically, I was a little lost in the first three lines as I wasn't sure where the songs was going. The first reference to the hook was the fourth line, "singing Hank." At first I thought the song was about a problem with the writer's father and they weren't gettingg along. Then I was corrected beginning with the fourth line. But even then, I wasn't sure. Sometimes a little mystery in the opening doesn't hurt it. Also, I thought the "all across the nation" line is a little overused and contrived. With all this said, I loved the song and feel it has huge potential if connected to the right artist. If it was my song, I wouldn't change a thing unless I was going to re-write at some point. And then, tweak the first verse and add a little more subtlety to the "across" the nation" phrase. I would pitch this as is. The production on this is stellar and I would love to know who did it. Hank, this is some of your best work to date. Thanks for being a member. Roy

Good story line, Rocking vibe, drums could have been lourder, this song will do well in its gern, well done good work.

My kind of song. Good job!

Love this song, its a real toe tapper. The only suggestion is the claps are a bit too strong in the mix (not sure if its the tone or the volume). But then again, that is more of a personal preference. Fantastic tune!
