The earth violently quaked and the sky turned black
And the temple vail was torn
Those who loved him wept and did not understand
For this purpose He was born

Nicodemus and Joseph prepared spices and oils
And washed his gaping wounds
and they wrapped him up in swaddling cloths
And laid him in the tomb

Pilate posted a guard, secured the tomb with a seal
Satan nervously smiled and held his breath

But on Sunday morn the truth was revealed
Jesus conquered death
