Lyrics

BREAKFAST WITH TIFFANY
Performed: Wayne Groome, Alan Hill and Mike Fulmer
Written by Wayne Groome and Alan Hill
Verse 1
Walking your way
I start walking with you
I'm wearing my heart
Like an ill fitting shoe
Verse 2
We chat about movies
And things that we've read
Am I flirting with you
Or is it inside my head
Chorus
And I just want your hand
Not looking for a one night stand
Oh I just want to spend the day with
I want each night with
Oh, I just want to have breakfast with Tiffany
Verse 3
You've a pretty name
Your mother must be
A fan of Audrey Hepburn
Gorgeous star of the silver screen
Verse 4
I don't tell you
But then you don't tell me
Of an unspoken love
Are we missing our destiny
Chorus
Verse 5
I've no regrets
That I'll admit too
Apart from the one
I should be sharing my life with you
Chorus
Chorus
(Half chorus)
Oh I just want to spend the day with
I want each night with
Oh, I just want to have breakfast with Tiffany

There is a nice warmth and intimacy with the way the song is recorded. Very little if any reverb. It's nice to change to hear songs recorded that way. The vocals are present and well delivered. I really like the rhythm of the acoustic guitar the comes between the verses. I love what the harmony vocal is doing and how it sits in the mix.

I thought this was a cool one man production. It's not Boston but it's still fun. I'd love to hear it redone with a full band! You know, with keys and actual back up singers and a better mix/master. I also really appreciated the play on the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's with in your hook.

lyrics and vocals good foundation and hook.

I really like the sound of the drums and the rhythm guitar - I also like the backing vocals.
