I was finally motivated to record this song and create "RePSYCLeD" after I had a falling out with a lifetime friend. We used to jam out together since I was 13 and play old Black Sabbath covers. We were also both in the band "Clovis" together from 1999-2001,
Song Description
The concept "Pop Dream" is about America's Pop culture. Who can say they too haven't dreamed of being "rich & famous" ? In a vapid society where money and material dominate the psyche, it's easy to become "soul less".
I used a sample from the movie - "The Neverending Story". The sample can be found within the interlude of the song after the second chorus. The message of the song can be found in this sample.
