Story Behind The Song
I was driving from my kids school when my ex-wife's attorney called me and informed me that my divorce papers were ready to be signed. I didn't want to be divorced and I knew that I could change. Driving those 10 miles was the longest ten miled of my life. I wanted to stay married but I felt like I was "Walking the Mile," to my death sentence.
