Story Behind The Song

I wrote a fanfare theme over 20 years ago after a vacation to Yosemite National Park. This is the final realisation of that composition.

Song Description

Atmospheric opening and build representing the light of sunrise illuminating and revealing the spectacular and awesome geography of the Half Dome and valley at Yosemite National Park. The piece opens with the sun's fanfare. The chorus is landscape's theme. the music builds to the inspirational bridge and dramatic solo in the verse as Half Dome is seen in its full glory. The song ends with the repeated landscape theme as you fly above the dramatic panorama.
