Story Behind The Song
This is about a girl who used to dream about being like the upper class. She used to look up to, and aspire to be like the people a few neighbourhoods away, with more money, better educations, better wardrobes, cars and snooty attitudes. It's about growing up, and growing a distaste for this snobery, and realising that she preys never to adopt an attitude often had by people in the upper classes with lots of money.
Song Description
This song has a sweet, sarcastic vibe over funky, memorable music. There are great contrapuntal vocal lines in the chorus, each as catchy as the other making a very full, catchy, hooky chorus. The Verses have breathy vocals with attitude, there's great keyboard lines & funky drums.

Lyrics
Hey my love oh honey hey my love, would you ever wanna walk my way,
Hey my love oh honey hey my love, would you give me the time of day
I used to wanna be you, I used to wanna talk just like you
I used to wanna see you, so I could act just the way you do
(chorus)
(snob) so now don?t go asking me (for any thing), you?re such a little snooty snob, oh yes
(snob) no don?t go asking me, where do you go what do you know (oooh yes)
Hey my love oh honey hey my love, have you ever know the likes of me,
Hey my love oh honey hey my love, you?re too busy judging me to see
(chorus)
(snob) so now don?t go asking me (for any thing), you?re such a little snooty snob, oh yes
(what clothes I wear are they rare, what?s the name I don?t care)
(snob) no don?t go asking me, where do you go what do you know (oooh yes)
(what car I drive is it fly, you call my name I?ll pass you by)
music breakdown
(bridge)
can I take you I want to make you, so much nicer
you?d like the freedom, you need the wisdom, you?re blinded, oh oh
(chorus x )
