Story Behind The Song

This is about a girl who used to dream about being like the upper class. She used to look up to, and aspire to be like the people a few neighbourhoods away, with more money, better educations, better wardrobes, cars and snooty attitudes. It's about growing up, and growing a distaste for this snobery, and realising that she preys never to adopt an attitude often had by people in the upper classes with lots of money.

This song has a sweet, sarcastic vibe over funky, memorable music. There are great contrapuntal vocal lines in the chorus, each as catchy as the other making a very full, catchy, hooky chorus. The Verses have breathy vocals with attitude, there's great keyboard lines & funky drums.
