Crossin' On Over

Story Behind The Song

My mom (Laura) and I were together one day tossin ideas around and Crossin' On Over came about when we realized that we were both good girls trying to always do the right thing and trying to live life by the golden rule, We decided that we wanted to go really wild, so we did! Through our words and melody to Crossin' On Over. We also wanted to figure out a way to let the public know that on our Album "Crossin' O Over" I was singing blues, Country, rock, and some soft pop so I was Crossin' On Over to different styles of music as well. Boy my mom and I sure have a lot of fun pretending to be harley mama's who knows maybe someday we will be Harley Mama's!!!.. hahahahahahah

Lyrics

Crossin? On Over

I?ve been livin? my life by the golden rule, takin? one day at a time.
I?m tired of being so picture perfect, let me tell ya what?s on my mind.

Now don?t waste your breath and don?t try and judge me, I?m sound I?m not going in sane. Just a getting? smarter and a little wiser, crossin? on over to the fast lane.

CHORUS

Yeah! Crossin? on over to the fast lane, ta heck with one day at a time.

I wanna jump on a Harley at three in the mornin? and do things that?ll blow your mind.

I?m Gonna stop being miss goodie two shoes, I wanna be a hot diva in red.

It?s time to unleash this tiger within a look out I bout ta turn some heads.

Crossin? on over, crossin' on over yeah crossin' on over yeah I'm a crossin? on over to the fast lane.

Who knows I could wind up as a lion tamer, or a bag lady on skid row. I could take a fall racin? motorcycles, or bullfighting in ole Mexico.
My old style of life don?t suit me no more, I?m hell bent to check out the wild side Gonna let loose and cut those shackles that bind, let em? rip and enjoy the ride.

CHORUS

Spoken at end: Ya know, I think I ought a trade in that old station wagon of mine and get me one of those Harley Davidsons.

Vrrrr Vrrrr Take me away spike?.

I'm gonna be a Harley Moma!!! Ha HA HA Ha Ha
