Story Behind The Song
Inspired by nomadic living and serpetine train tracks that wind along the Puget Sound, but written in New York City about a restless soul who has difficulty with commitment.
Song Description
Right from the beginning this song creates a distinctive mood, the vocals flowing easily over a repeated rhythm that has an African feel . It is about the longing for movement, and the emotional consequences of the contemporary nomdaic lifestyle. But mostly it is about one dremy feeling, that I want to get under your skin.

Lyrics
Serpent Trains
Written by Andrea Guskin Copyright 2003
Chorus:
Serpent trains are passing through my veins and I must leave ( 4X)
Trees are like bodies rapt in ecstasy
I am moving too fast to get close to anybody
To be exposed would be my demise
To be naked in front of your eyes
Chorus
Her skin bears a new pattern of hope
He looks at her kindly
She laughs at a joke
But it?s over too quickly with a slam and a yell
And there she runs swiftly
Quickly running with her will
Chorus:
The anchor moves up and a nomad goes free
The new becomes her robe she wears lovingly
Her body moves forward, the lightness her muse
All the faces are blurring too alluring to choose
Chorus
