Song Description

Three 8-string guitar parts over a heavy drum line. The song starts with a heavily distorted rhythm guitar line and is then followed by a lighly distored lead guitar line that utilizes the tapping technique. This would be considered the hook section, and between hooks there are interesting bridges and interludes that use wah pedals, eerie pinch harmonic squeals, tone shaping and classical style harmonization to create a very captivating sound. The song was written in a unique tuning that the I created around the F phrygian dominant scale.

Story Behind the Song

I wanted to write something with a creepy feeling that also made people want to bob their heads to the rhythm. I think this piece really incapsulates a feeling of being on the brink of insanity but in a way that comes across more as a dark comedy instead of a tragedy.
