Lyrics

Head on out the front door, with that moon shining bright
Hop in the jeep with the top off,
Not a cloud in the sky to hide a single star tonight
We're picking up buddies on the westside,
Then we're headed on out to the bonfire

And we ride, leaving all our cares inside
'Cause we know that winter's coming soon enough
So break out the bottle and fill your cup
It's fine to party all night long,
Its time to grab the one you love
And slide on over in a beach chair,
Pop the top on a cold beer and unwind
On this Great Lake summer night.

It's happens on sand bars and boat docks,
In hoodies, shorts, and flip flops by the beachside
it's backyard fires with the radio on,
Igloo coolers and Oberon in the firelight
In big cities or in small towns,
Yeah we crank it up when the sun goes down

And we ride, leaving all our cares inside
'Cause we know that winter's coming soon enough
So break out the bottle and fill your cup
It's fine to party all night long,
Its time to grab the one you love
And slide on over in a beach chair,
Pop the top on a cold beer and unwind
On this Great Lake summer night.

There aint nowhere in this whole wide world that I'd rather be,
Than sitting right next to you...

As we ride, leaving all our cares inside
'Cause we know that winter's coming soon enough
So break out the bottle and fill your cup
It's fine to party all night long,
Its time to grab the one you love
And slide on over in a beach chair,
Pop the top on a cold beer and unwind
On this Great Lake summer night.

Love the uptempo intro - got me hooked right away! This should be on the radio now, in time for summer fun. Great lyrics allow visualization and a message of hope. Spot on instrumentation, with nice stops and hits to POP your attention. Just what we all need right now. Great structure, nice breakdown in the bridge and bring it back to a tender moment. Super vocalist.

Very nice high energy intro. Vocal continues the energy and keeps it moving. Very appealing sound and atmosphere. I Like the breaks at "winter's coming soon enough...." Positive, happy summer tune that fits the summer feeling well.
