It's not uncommon for Pinkie to just walk off stage and start dancing with the crowd during any given guitar solo! Unbridled fun is sure to abound!
2-9-07 - Friday, February 9th 2007 - this morning our MySpace site hit 20,000 views. Our one year anniversary on MySpace is 3-19-07. We did alot of charity work. We played alot of really cool gigs. We made alot of friends and we had a lot of fun. Now 20,000 views and over 17,000 listens. Not too bad for a no-name band!!!
1-3-07 Work begins on our upcoming album. William takes on the daunting task of producer, composer, engineer and resigns himself to a life of endless toil, sleepless nights and possible estrangement from his wife.
8-26-07 Can't believe we opened for Los Lonely Boys at the Sleep Train Pavilion in Concord! We must have passed out 3000 flyers. Close to 8000 people heard us. We were told not to expect much because our stage was on the way to the main stage. Folks had no qualms about sitting in their lawn chairs, at the picnic tables and on the grass to listen to us. If you ever get the offer to open a big venue - take it! No matter how little time they give you to prepare - take it! We had 3 days to prepare and we will never forget it!
6-27-06 - Morning Wood Blues began as a studio concept in early 2006 and even though it's more of a society than a band it has rapidly grown into a performing band. It's to the point that anyone who sits in with Pinkie is a member of the band. We're gettin there.
4-19-06 - Folks ask why the name? What does it mean? You're kidding, right? Every adult suffers from Morning Wood Blues of one type or another. Think about it. There's a song about it. As soon as it is copy written and recorded - you'll hear it here. Pinkie wants us all to think that Morning Wood Blues is about the little birds in our logo......... right, whatever.
2-01-06 - The very first Humpday Wild Mountain Jamboree held at the Willow Glen Saloon was a success! This will be the beginning of a great band!
We're biker friendly!
