Originally from Tuskegee, Alabama, I have been a working musician living in Atlanta since 1968. I play guitar with Java Monkey, which was Out A Hand in the eighties, which was Mose Jones in the seventies! Java Monkey is Francine Reed's backup band, that is when she is not touring with Lyle Lovett's Large Band, her "day gig" for the last 22 years. My wife Raven and I are songwriters, and she is my main source of happiness and inspiration. We live in Marietta Georgia with our two Golden Retreivers, Rock and Jazz. I also co-write with Bryan Cole, the drummer in all those bands I've been in since 1973. I gotta get out more. :-)
