Played guitar and sang in groups and bands throughout the 60's - 80's, gigging most weekends. Took to songwriting when the working hours in my career as a theatre manager meant playing gigs was no longer possible. Now retired, I am heavily involved writing and producing at home.

Collaborations
Emma Jane from Scotland sang Love Is In The Things I Do. A duet with Julia Schmidt, We Can Be Lovers Again made the Country Traditional chart for 2 years. Performed the vocal on a track by fellow BJammer, Junior Murrell and have collaborated with CC Lamondt on several songs with her lyrics and my music. Most recently collaborated with Susan Odella on her wonderful song Falling Away.

The winner of 2018 Voice Of Namibia, Claudine Nelson, provided the entertainment for this year's contest. She performed Between The Earth and the Stars, co-written by me and my publisher Cat Lamondt. It was performed to a backing track I composed and produced and went down extremely well. Hopefully it will be released in the next 3 months and may also be on Claudine's first album. This has opened other doors for projects in that area.

Hey Bob, I want to thank you for your advice on "Allegheny Train". I did take off some of the delay and reverb and I think the song sounds much better, much appreciated!!!

Just had another BJ newcomer with just a hint of arrogance about his reviewing ability. Heaven preserve us from people with one song on their page and an ego the size of Texas!

Very proud to be a part of Falling Away with Susan Odella. A wonderful experience for a first collaboration.
