400: The Songwriter, The Interna

Hustler
There are several things that motivate pursuit from people. Athletes sacrifice their bodies for the achievement and the glory of it all. Business men and women sacrifice their spouse's and children for the bragging rights of their accomplishments and notoriety of establishing a profitable business entity. When it comes to music, many artists have their own motivations, but for songwriter and entrepreneur 400, he does everything for the joy of success.
The development of his unique style is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. Growing up in Cleveland Ohio, 400 spent a lot of time in recording studios. His father was a full-time DJ and Producer with the very first state of the art recording studio in Cleveland. During his time in the studio as a child, 400 learned the fundamentals of making music. By age 8, he taught himself how to play the piano from his God given ability to recognize notes and sound. Later he began to play the alto saxophone and drums, which led to producing music.
When 400 was 14 he was signed to a local record label in Cleveland as a group member of a rap group called Order of Assasins. With the success of his group album the label decided to promote 400 as a solo artist. His first album "All She Wrote," released on his 16th birthday and sold 15,000 copies through out Cleveland and slowly began to make 400 a household name.
During the recording of his second album 400's record lablel fell into bankruptcy leaving him without a deal. With the drive and willingness to succeed, 400 began to promote himself without a label. This tatic led to him having one of the biggest and longest running songs in the history of hot 107.9fm in Cleveland Ohio.

In his desire to want more, 400 decided to take his show on the road and move to Atlanta GA in hopes to gain a bigger audience. Things didn't work in his favor upon moving to Atlanta and he was homeless shortly after moving. At 22, 400 was faced with reality and the will to fuffill his dream. After 3 months of living in the streets of Atlanta 400 began to turn his life around by writing songs for various artists in Atlanta. By 24, 400 was back on his feet and living his dream but with a new sound and a stronger drive.

At 25, 400 began his own music publishing company called MSMJ Music. The new euro pop / techno sound that 400 has created helped his company skyrocket during its first year. Since opening, MSMJ Music worked for music on various television shows and major recording artist. Some of MSMJ clients include Keeping up with the Kardashians, Chloe and Lamar and Bad Girls Club.
Eventhough 400 has a strong musical background, he also has a strong desire for business. With a Bachelor's Degree in Corporate Management, he used his knowledge in business not only to start a music publishing company, but also to to invest in a women's online clothing and jewelry store, a women's clothing store in Africa, vending machine business and a travel agency that will lauch in Spring 2012.
