Klaus Adamaschek, born in 1957 in the Ruhr area in Germany, has always made music, influenced by American songwriters such as Kris Kristofferson, Jim Croce or Neil Young. His new album is produced at Toolhouse Studios, one of Germany's state-of-the-art studios. "Dreams and Shadows" is a multi-faceted and atmospherically dense singer-songwriter album. Every single one of the 14 songs tells its own story. In the early spring of 2008, Shiregreen wins the world-wide songwriting contest "ComProsers 2008". Shiregreen's song "Freedom Fighter" holds sway over competitors from five nations.
