Located in Seattle, Washington, Shelly Farmer has a rock band style with an indie feel. From her acoustic to pop to hard rock roots, her eclectic blend makes a solid and fierce sound. Shelly, writes stirring lyrics that take the listener to a place where love, loss and anger converge into an emotional well of familiarity. She has been writing songs for years with guitarist, James Howell, who fuels the lyrics with expressive and powerful guitar, creating a fusion that you won’t soon forget. Her most recent band, Deceptive Cadence, with the addition of Billy Fox on drums and Dan Natress on Bass, created a musical core that was unstoppable... so they thought. Sadly, it didn't last and Shelly is now making her way as a solo artist looking forward to band opportunities in the future.
