Jon Sebastien Cicada is primarily a songwriter who can write in many styles. Anything from driving rock to a childs lullaby, or a 20's big band song to Euro pop. Over the years there have been many artists whose influences he has taken on board, but the great writers from Lennon/Mccartney through to Richard Rogers, Irving Berlin to Paul Simon, Neil Sedaka to Andrew Lloyd Webber, all have their place in his record collection. Although he played live a few years ago in various short lived bands, mainly his work is produced in the studio. Over the years many songs in different mediums have been recorded, and now, with the start of Broadjam and Taxi, believes it's time to get his music out to the public, in a way that a few years ago was impossible, but now, thanks to the internet, so many options are available.
