With over 30 years of experience in the music business Peter is not content to just play music, but is an accomplished writer who has had his songs covered worldwide by such artists as Grammy winners - The Blind Boys of Alabama, jazz singer Vince Jones and achieved chart success with his song Together (SWE). He is a prolific songwriter who has won many songwriting awards, including winning the blues section of the internationally renown song comp ISC in 2004 with his track The Right Side of the Kingdom

Bio

Played with various rock bands as guitarist in the 70’s incl country rock band CAHOOTS. Played support gig to Roy Orbison. Peter hired jazz vocalist VINCE JONES 1980 to sing his songs. These were played on the ABC and he was contracted to WARNER CHAPPELL Sydney as a song writer
Before shifting to Sydney with his family he won the MELB SONG COMP. latter in the 80’s COL JOYE, Australian chart topper form the 50’s recorded Peter’s song WHEN YOU BECAME MINE. Around the same time another Australian well known ‘BAZZA’ CROCKER recorded Peter’s song TOGETHER which was produced by PETULIA CLARK’S producers TRENT & HATCH. He worked extensively with BARRY LEEF in Sydney and Barry sang his song WHATEVER HAPPENED TO ROMANCE? on the RAY MARTIN SHOW. (national TV)
contracted to IMAGE FABLE RECORDS in Melbourne and they placed his song with EUROVISION entrant from Sweden LOTTA ENGBERG with the song TOGETHER. Another that recorded that song were BEN KRAMER from Holland. TAKANORI HIURA from Japan recorded another song of Peter’s entitled LONG DISTANCE LOVER.
In 1987 his song HEROES AND VILLAINS became the hit song of the musical RASPUTIN at the State Theatre Sydney.
Among his awards are: NOTHING TO LOSE runner up in the BILLBOARD SONG COMP. Winner of 6 AUSTRALIA BROADCAST AWARDS (Paters) including best lyrics; pop; jazz and rock. In 1992 he was also the winner of the MUSIC FARM COMP with his song THIS IS THE LOVE.
