Biff Thuringer is the stage name of Steve Hopkins, a longtime performer, bandleader and former Mercury performing artist, among other things. His band, Milo Z, toured for years with the Neville Brothers, Al Green, The Meters, Spin Doctors, and Joan Osborne. He's played and/or recorded with Tony Lindsay (former lead singer of Santana), legendary baritone saxman Nick Brignola, jazz bassist Santi Debriano, bluesmen Moe Holmes, Popa Chubby and Murali Coryell, and many others.
