That was so interesting to me that you commented that it sounded dated, as I actually just had the keyboard tracks redone to get rid of the retro sounds and add cooler synth. It is so interesting reading reviews of one's songs. I'm glad you like my bouncy happy song "Looking for a Girl." Thanks! It's been used in two weddings where the husband finally settled on one girl. If you want really really original, check out my "Dance with Lightning." It will at least surely give you a laugh.

Hey man, just listened to your song "Eleven Eleven." I saw in the discription, it said something about the numbers 11,11, well my family is always seeing those numbers on clocks, lisence plates, and all of that. Really nice lyrics and I relate. :)

@ Derek, When you give a review a low overall score, 3/5 or lower, leave some kind of constructive criticism.. If you like the song, don't be afraid to give scores of 5/5. I know you are new here. i figure i"d give you a heads up.
Hi melvin Im just getting used to the review system which I think is slightly flawed,I've tried to be honest...some people write great songs but the production is poor and some great productions with poor songs...ive tried to pick out the good and the bad..most of my songs are in the fluffy pop bracket so I'm expecting some knocks from more serious artists..Ive had only one rewiew so far which was quite good...In your case the piece of music in question was a rhythmical instrumental which I can imagine being used for so many things ...This is good however I didnt think it stood out as a great piece...my background is in engineering and production so I'm always looking out for good productions...in your case its was excellent. I understand that you have been quite successful and I wish you all the best...I hope we can stay good Broadjam friends...after all we all have a common goal and thats success with our music. take care Derek
Hi Derek: Of course we're gonna stay good Broadjam friends. As far as reviews go, you get low scores as well as high. It all depends on the reviewers personal taste. I'm not too concerned about scores. My main concern is Constructive Criticism. If you let a person know where you find fault. they can improve upon it. Thats all I'm saying friend...MB.

Hi Derek. You just reviewed my instrumental and made a comment that you'd like to hear a vocal version. Well, the song was created with vocals to begin with and I later turned it into an instrumental to try to get some licensing placements for instrumentals. The song is titled "Sidewinder" and you can go to my song list and listen to the original version that has the vocals in it. Thanks for reviewing 'This is My Life".....the recording was a big experiment using two Roland Edirols....haha, it's the pits so I agree with you on that. It still has to be mastered so we're hoping something better can come of it. The musicians? Well, you've poorly rated Buff Allan who's one of Canada's foremost jazz drummers, Ian Cameron who is at the front in Jamaica, and Les Cornell who's classical works and writings have had him pen many a Shakesperian play.....maybe the combo of them didin't work, don't know, but they are good musicians. Slag me, not them :D
I'm sorry I dont understand...The track Ive just reviewed is a guitar and vocal...there is no drums and nothing else...just guitar and vox ?? Its quite a nice song and needs some work....I havn't slagged anyone ???
