Hi Claudia. Thank you for the kind review of "London Town". As a boy the house was filled with my Dad competing with the use of the HI FI removing my Moody Blues and King Crimson records and slipping on Glen Miller , Tommy Dorsey and claiming the rites to real music. I am a Londoner and have lived away from England for many years and it is the simple things you miss that you grew up accustomed to, the cold,grey, misty charm of the city. They say if you are born in listening distance of the "Bow Bells" that made you a true "Cockney". The song is written for a project album about the lesser heard music of London in the Late 50's and 60's. love your comments though and you are right on the ball. Really like "Yankee Girl". Hi Claudia, I visited the States a couple of years ago which was super, but at the moment the UK is keeping me busy! I have just had a country song I co-wrote with a musician in the States picked up by a plugger in Nashville, so you never know, maybe if it is placed with one soopa doopa super star I will be over in 2012!! lol.... Would love to work though, it is amazing what can be achieved over the pooters! If you fancy a listen to any of my lyrics and songs I can send you a link, of course, would love to work with you, but no pressure. HELLO CLAUDIA, Thank you for your review! "WHIMSICAL WISECRACK"IS THE SONG. I used some clap loops i won here in a contest. They are not midi, don't remember if i used midi drums or not. I stay away from that-you are correct, real sounds better.I tried to capture the feel of a blues club in CHICAGO! THANK YOU FOR YOUR REVIEW,I LISTEN TO EVERYONE!
