What a Great Pleasure on your beautiful song ! Danka!!
Hi Patrick, Danka to you. just Curious, What song are you speaking about?
Thanks Rob for the 5-star rating for "Danger" - much appreciated.
Really love your song Let's Go Out and See the Lights
Thanks Glenda. I think it would be better with a female lead or possibly a duet.
I agree....someone like Sandy Patty singing duet with you would probably be a great collaboration.
My song "Let There be Light arranged for choir by the great Mark Hayes, just got picked up by J.W. Peppe, one of the largest and most influential music Publishers in the nation. They also awarded it the honor of being an Editor's Choice - which is the first place most music directors go When selecting music. Here I the link currently awaiting artwork and sample pages/mp3 demo: http://www.jwpepper.com/Let-There-Be-Light/10625084.item#.V4D1WBkpDqD 1
Very well done Rob, congratulations. Have just played it for the first time and can see why it has been lauded by the publishers. great work.
Hey Rob, thanks for the five stars! It means a lot!
Hello Rob! Thank you very much for taking the time to listen, rate and add my new song "Beginning of the end" to your playlist ! I really appreciate your support. All the best!
Just got a nice and promising letter from Mark Hayes (the most popular arranger of Choral Music and so gifted as a composer, arranger and publisher) Here it is: "Rob, It's been a while since we've talked and I wanted to touch base with you about a few things. First and most important - J. W. Pepper, which is the largest and most influential music retailer in the country, has designated "Let There Be Light" an Editor's Choice! This is a big deal, because it says to the consumer that J.W. Pepper recommends this piece above others. Yours is the first Holmes Street Publishing piece that has received this honor, so I'm pumped as the publisher and also excited for you. I will be leading a choral reading session in a KC suburb July 16. Pepper picks the titles that will be read, and your song is on the list! I will really promote it. It will also be promoted on other J.W.Pepper reading sessions this summer!" I received an order for 50 copies from J.W. Pepper just yesterday, so that's good. They have put it on their website. They didn't have cover artwork when they posted it, but I sent that to them and they should have that in place soon. Here's the link:http://www.jwpepper.com/Let-There-Be-Light/10625084.item#.V1ImCmalxXQ 1 ...it is understandable that on a week like this, I cannot find earth for the clouds! Thank you Mark. All glory, honor and praise to God. This is a landmark moment in my life. I hope it inspires others to keep at it and make beautiful music for the world!
It's a beautiful song with a beautiful message. Well deserved Rob, Hank Thomas
here's wishing you continued success. . .
Thanks guys! and the same to you. I appreciate the comments. Mark now wants me to write for him so I got an assignment. I will have to step away from my movie cue mind and jump back in to great lyric writing. Not an easy task. I'm a little rusty.
Well done and good luck Rob.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my broadjam friends! I am grateful for you all. Good news. I just signed the contract for my song "Let There Be Light" for publishing by famed Choral Arranger Mark Hayes and available for choirs early next year by his company, Holmes Street Publishing. Also had two more songs picked up by publisher Perpetual Music Group! Thank you God! A nice finish for 2015.
Sail Friend! Good News much deserved. Much Goodness always Dean & Jacalyn
Made a major update to "Let's Go Out and See the Lights." This is the Nashville Rhythm section with Kenny Malone (Don't it Make My Brown Eyes Blue and lots of other hits) on drums, Tom Hemby (played with Amy Grant, Glenn Campbell and many other greats) on guitar, Dan O'Lannerghty (Veggie Tales) on Bass. I finally tempo tracked and added my orchestral sweeteners on top. It is a far superior listening experience now.! Thanks for the ads Julia, Glenda, Peter and Christoph!
Let's Go Out and See the Lights is a great Christmas song. I wish you much success with it.
Thank you minister Glenda. How nice of you to say. Blessings.
Beautiful Christmas song , Rob! " let's go out and see the lights " sweeeeeet!!!!:)
Thanks Julia. I did a version of this in Nashville at Brett Teegardens studio under the hand of grammy winning producer Bubba Smith, but I am practicing with this version on this site. I hope the Nashville version sounds better. I don't like my voice on this yet. I need to keep working with phrases till I get the right sound to make the song sing right.
Well good luck ! Wish u the best:)
I wish you so much success. Sometimes I feel like we are all on the talent lottery and always root for the home team, but I can only speak truth and while I want the best for everyone I still think everyone should deliver the best they can. There are times I think that you have greater things coming !
Why thank you so much!!! Appreciate that ;))
