Hi Al, Just a note to let you know I read your review of "Bluestone Mountain" contemporary... it is going on a cd of American views of life ... now and in the past... so I have made sure it is easier to listen to... for some reason it was a tough song to get down... I have another version's, it is what I call Bluegrass kinda style... I have been told--NOT!!!! I think that is the one for my cd... I always put songs up before they are totally finished...I have the best producer and engineer in one... always gets the job done, in the end...so thanks for the input. Gave a listen to couple of your songs.. one you have a couple woman singing, very interesting use of the reverb... I see your music list is Al Reed music. Reed is my maiden name spelled with double E... not often see that in Scotland... ancestral Gfather came from Cornwall in 1660 to Am... was a lieutenant in Cromwells army...guess he wasn't going to wait around after Cromwells demise...love the interesting stories... guess that is why I like songs that tell stories. also i think broadjam should have a lyric only submission system for lyric only writers because at the moment you need to upload a tune to enable you to upload a lyric
just uploaded lyrics for the lyrics only submission...amazed at they are accepting finished songs...as i dont think i would be too happy if my tune was scrapped because it would have been wasted work on the tune if you have to collaborate on new lyrics ..what do you think guys...i just uploaded another trackwhich had nothing to do with my lyrics

Al - thnks for review of Goodbye Letter. One tip when doing a review, If you're going to take the time to listen, give the artist something he can use to improve upon , other than "not sure if this is a hit single". Also , the singer on my song is the best session singer in Nashville, a lot of other artist on BJ use him, his name is Michael Lusk.My song may not rate any "5"'s but he sure does. But thank you for the review.
hi donovan maybe i was reviewing too many at one time and became a littlre tired you are correct he does rate a 5 ...re your song very good song and def lends itself to full band coming in after 1st chorus ...i think thats the key but you may disagree and want it stripped down cheers al
