Brian, thanks so very much for the outstanding review of "Don't Tell Me No" we had a lot of fun envisioning what it must be like to be inside the head of a U.S. President with basically unlimited personal power. So glad you dug it. thanks - dw

Hi Brian, thanks for your review of my song "Subterranean Surfaces" and your commIents, yes, I guess you guessed who I am, we havec reviewed our songs for years and it is great to listen that there is a retro 80 synth feeling csince many of my songs have it. And yes, my equipment is "old" and few chances of renewing it since us dollar have climbed a lot in reference to mexican peso. so...
but besides that, once again, thanks a lot

Hello Brian. I truly appreciate your review of my song, "Dangerous World." I wish you the best of luck.

Hi Brian, Thanks so much for your generous review of "Jagged Edge". What an awesome review man, your comments are very much appreciated. Well I did do something different to the song, I have a vocal version. I agree that the instrumental version can hold it's own without vocals. If you care to hear the vocal version, it rocks too, it's called "Subliminal Messages". Much love, Dave - CenterPeace

Thank you Brian for the kind review of my song "Sweet Misery ." Much appreciated!!! Keep rockin!

Hello Brian, Thanks for the Review of Pow Pow Pow instrumental. I am not really good at classifying genre, so I appreciate your input. At any rate, you probably would not guess that this is really a children's song. Here is the version w/ vocals....let me know what you think if you have time to listen. Thanks. Mrs. Kate PS Enjoy your lonely little music life. Been there, done that. MK http://www.broadjam.com/player/player.php?play_file=24409_468596 1

Brian - I ran across your exchange with Dave in the comments and thought I'd check your page. Glad I did. Listened to several of your tunes and heard some fascinating material. Especially enjoyed Xenocryst = Great guitar control; sort of a Vai meets Holdsworth in a strange land of sonic bliss. Unless I'm mistaken, some of your other tunes also demonstrate considerable Whammy mastery. Nice.

Brian, WOW a perfect score on "Subliminal Messages"! You freakin rock!! Thanks so much for the great review and I'm glad you dig where I'm coming from. The message of that song comes from deep within and even though I had to sing it myself (Im not a singer!!) you were able to see beyond that and reviewed based on the overall presentation. Thanks for your awesome point of view! Dave - CenterPeace

You deserved it on that song man. I'm still singin' it ;)
Great song, would never have known you weren't a pro singer. Reminded me of some of Steve Vai's narrative singing in part. Exceptional dynamics, smooth changes and catchy meaningful lyrics. Keep it up Man!!! I'm a fan!

Yea, I'm still singing it too; very strong lyrics and your vocals are richly applied to the emotions of this great rockin song Dave; great back up vocals, great piece! You've done it again.

Hey, thanks for the review of "A Sweet Forever". I understand what you're saying, and the funny thing is the song was originally written with vocals many years ago, but my vocals are "not that good" so I just turned it into an instrumental bed, as with most of my first songs posted here. I have some new ones I am working on now which are more designed as actual instrumentals. Cool that you like Queensryche. I used to listen to them in the late 80's / early 90's. I hear they actually replaced Geoff Tate? I checked out a couple of your tracks and the guitar playing is very nice

Hi Brian - glad to be connected. Thanks for the review of 'Out of Whack'. Re. vocal pitch - I wonder if you're hearing the dissonance of the delayed vocal? Went through Pro-tools auto correct... My issue is the main vocal should be more up front. Maybe that would solve something, or maybe the spider monkey could take on the producer!

Listening through your tunes. My darkest hour is great. I have a friend who also doesn't sing his own songs. He recently sent me something to lay down some vox trax, but no one could replicate what he did.

Hi Matthew thanks for your review of "Claims Adjustin Man". I'm listening to Xenocryst and it sounds like Jeff Beck, "World Falling" also with great solo work and COOL backing vocals, and "Darkest Hour" too. Nice recorded sounds and very good guitar work throughout!
