I've been into electronica since I got my Concertmate MG1...awesome stuff, Blob! Nice melody and harmonic progessions, which a lot of electronic music lacks.
Hey what a fantastic detailed and thoughtful review of What You Do!! Thank you very much --that was a pleasure to read and feel someone digging that deep into the elements and weighing choices. ~Jeff
Hi and thanks for your incredibly kind and generous review of our track, "Far Behind Me". I'm going to check out some of your songs now, good luck on Broadjam and thanks again!
Hi Blob_B. Thanks for the much appreciated and thorough review of my song, Crossing Over. Your input really helps. Best of luck to you.
great energy (slight, subtle female atmosphere at points :) ) Did cheer me up your "D Scarlatti-K492!Nice job!
Hello. I've got a message from you regarding a review which I think should have gone to Andrew Koenig. I did review one of your songs a while ago but it was a different song. Regards. David
Made it!! I said I wanted to emulate Wendy Carlos with my "Switched on Scarlatti" and Broadjam has given me a sex change. I'm in the female Top 10. WTF? :-)
Dude, you gave me a perfect review, YOU ARE AWESOME!!! :D
bLOB b - Thank you for your review of "Corn Liquor and Marijuana". It is kinda between a sketch and a finished song. I was practicing my production chops. THe echoed line was on purpose. I have thought since that I would remove it from the last verse, and only have it on the 2nd and 4th line of the 2nd. Am in process of rerecording it now that I have newer/better gear, and have listened to this version for a bit. Thanks again... Matt
hi Blob--I'm not Ken, but thank you for your review of my classical attempt Desert Sands piece. You are correct in that there are obviously no real instruments but thank you for all 5's based on the composition and ideas...all the best, Warren Hein
You're going to wonder aren't you? Your composition reminded me of pieces by Kenneth LaVone who is here at Briadjam. Hopefully you will see that as the compliment I intended if you check out his music. I'm sure you will be getting many more very positive reviews back on that composition.
Just got an Eigenharp. Only a Pico but an awesome instrument none the less
Your fascination with household appliances and food is somewhat concerning sir Blob? But I must say, You have some very creative compositions.
They tried to make me go to rehab but .. .. oh hang on that's been done :-) Glad you enjoyed the music, thanks
Enjoy the humor your interject into your delightful creations!
washing machine music--HA HA!--pretty cool!--thanxs--joe.
hey Blob_B--your name spells BolB backwards!--cheers--joe.---I like your concepts--
The titles to your songs are very creative. Great electronic music!!!
"Something Fishy" is something very strange but goooood!!!! Weird at first then sounds just different, coooool!!!!
Thank you so much for the awesome review of my song. I really appreciate it. Just starting out and its comments like those that keep me going. YOU ROCK!
Blob_B I really like your Washing Machine Music!!!! Other songs are VERY cool...Thanks for the high rating on BB....Happy New Year! DEBBY
Thanks. That one was quite popular all round. Challenge wasn't so well received here but I like Alan Parsons' (Dr Evil gesture) instrumentals so glad you enjoyed it a little too. Did you try "Something Fishy" by any chance? That is in quarter tone so sounds VERY fishy at first? If you are that adveturous and don't know of it yet I'd recommend Wendy Carlos' Beauty in the Beast for a unique experience
I enjoyed it a lot!!!! :) "Something Fishy" is something strange but goood!!
HEY--Blob--thanxs for the nice review of my song--TROPHY BLUES--I have had a ton of fun with that one--sure is a great conversation piece!--cheers--joe.
I really like your blob picture and "Washing Machine music" song.
Thank you
What am I up to? I'm posting a comment on Broadjam that's why this is here - unless you look away ;-)
Exactly
Hello and thank you very much for your helpful and positive review of L'antica Danza. Your comments were appreciated! Katy
Hi, thank you for taking your time to give me a review of my song "Icy eyes". I have also another arrangements of this song on my profile if you could be interested to listen at it. I appreciate very much your precious time and I'm glad you liked the song.
Thanks for your painstaking and genuinely helpful review of "A Mist Over Paris." I agree that the harpsichord is hot, and one of these days I'll hop back into ProTools to balance the mix. When I wrote the thing, I wanted to achieve the effect of emerging from an indeterminate fog into a night cityscape. This is incidental music for Cyrano de Bergarac -- specifically, the transition from the opening scene at the theater to the fight with a hundred swordsmen. All this by way of showing my thought process in those opening bars. I don't know if it worked or not. As in poker, the emphasis here is on the next deal. Thanks again for your time and clear effort. your American cousin, David Fitzpatrick
