WELL--with a few setbacks--i am hopeing to get back in action soon!--i was reviewing at least 30 songs a week there for awhile---maybe more--thanxs--joe------i like broadjam really good--ROY ELKINS DID A GOOD THING!---be glad when i can get a few bucks outa somthing i love to do!--glad i am not a lawyer--eeeeeks!

Yes Sylvia I saw it was you after I'd reviewed it. Not surprised it was another good one. I'm definitely going to give Paramount a try. Thanks for the list you sent me - some new ones I didn't know about. But I know what you're saying about all these music websites. You can spend a fortune and the danger is you spend too much time on reading instead of 'doing.' Better to just do it I think. Good luck. John
John, thanks for the review of "Caramel And Cream". Sorry you didn't like the synth horns, but they're all I've got and the recording is just a demo. What is "slightly indistinct" in the lyrics? I'm always rewriting and can always use new input. Thanks again, Bill
Slightly indistinct = hard to hear/understand. Unclear. I totally understand about the horns Bill. Sadly we can only work with whay we've got. A full orchestra would be nice. Good Luck.

"I'm past doing those things."??? I think you may have misunderstood my review. You sound great to me. I've listened to some of your other songs too - they sound just as good. To my ears - you've got it. You should be out there for everyone to hear. When I said I could hear a big name singing the song - I just meant it was that good. Understood. But it's still a great lyric. I'm a lyricist & I wish I'd written that. You should push that song very hard - are you looking for 'covers'? That's what I do and it's a long hard job. Who is the studio/girl - I'd like to use her myself.
No, i'm not pushing for covers. They don't let anyone know who the vocalists are but if you want the studio name I can give it to you.

This one is getting some excellent feedback and looks very good www.StudioPros.com But I'm genuinely puzzled about what you do with your superb songs if you're not trying to get them out there and have people sing them. I've listened to more of them and they are better than a lot of known singers in the charts. I love them.
John, I don't know what else to do as to promoting my music. I've done just about everything: licensing, radio, music libraries. Everyone loves my songs but I'm getting no where--frustrated, very. Sylvia

Tip sheets are subscription newsletters that tell you who is looking for songs. i.e. singers; managers; A&R. publishers etc. I have a long list if you want it. email is above.

Hi John, Turns out you have just reviewed one of our songs and found it to be distorted and scratchy. Perhaps you should consider that there was an internet problem as the song was professionally recorded and mastered and sounds very silky this side of the world! Having said that, the song should not still be on the review list as it was written twelve years ago!!

thank you for your review of my tune. it was written to be a good melody and to appeal to women who are in a long term relationship and would like to hear about long term love. it wasn't written for children. and, it's always in tune. but, it is mor like 90 percent of the world. it was not written or performed to be hip and now for the kids. your stuff is professional and aimed and i can see why you have had success. thanks again and good luck.
