Hey, Faye! Just posted a new one (lullaby) that you might like. Troubled Tears is a lullaby to sing to a dying loved one. This time it is me singing and playing. If you have the time and the daring, do! - Nick
Dear Faye, I found you through our mutual friend, Jim Pearson. "Come With Me" is a Masterpiece, but I would place it under Religious Alternative to get more plays. The Mojave does have many voices of the ancient Indian spirits, and you capture them with beauty and magic. I myself am drawn toward the dark side in my music, though I seek the Light in life. I am extending the branch of friendship as you have stirred my soul.
Thanks, Nick! I just might re-categorize it ... though I'm concerned that Religious Alternative is for bible-oriented alt-pop/rock ... I really appreciate your comments and thoughts - it's great when someone gets it, you know? Thank you for your friendship, as well. ;^)
No Problem. But since I love your style, could you give a Listen to NO MORE (top song on my page) and let me know what you think? Thanks. - Nick
great job Faye, nice work here! Emotionnnnnnnnn - Drew
Hi Faye, Congratulations on your recent top 10's! Keep it going. Dave - CenterPeace
Thanks for the review of my song, "Pieces". The "giggling" samples are an attempt to add a creepiness to the song. If you notice the words, they are very "Dexter" appropriate, and the giggles are to show just how much "he's" enoying his work! It was all in good fun! By the way, I listened to a couple of your songs........very blown away by "Believe".........excellent song writing and performing!
thanks for the nice review/joe.
thanks Faye for your very kind and helpful review of my tune "Strikin' it po' " yes, it was recorded years ago on a 4 track tape deck and if i had the $$$ to have it re-done i surely would..LOL . i listened to your 3 tunes and like them very much....your voice is angelic . thanks...
thanks, Chaz ... I'm sure you'll get the money to re-do, or someone will come along to foot the bill for you!
thanks for the feedback :)
Thanks for reviewing Mooly Cow Lullaby. Your comments are both thoughtful and helpful. You did a great job, the song being hiden for review purposes. Yes, it is a lullaby and it was written in the 1930's by my wifes grandfather. It has been sung to babies in our family, now to the 4th generation. I am a songwriter and have my work demoed, so this was done that way as well. I wanted to keep this special lullaby in the family for future generations. You nailed the intent and I wanted to comment so you know how right on you were. Thanks again! Matt
Thanks very much for your review of "Procrastinator" Faye. We're stoked that you held it in such high regard as truth be told, we only spent 6 hours and $300-$400 AUD recording this one. You're more than welcome to checvk out our other tracks on our profile page as we spent a little more on the production. As for vocal eq or fx in the verses of "Procrastinator", you could very well be on to something... Cheers again! Tranzphat
Thanks Faye! for the review of my song "Spanish Ripper". I composed that for a CD project that was done through Broadjam several years ago for a comic book. Didn't win placement, but it was a fun project nonetheless. :) Its one of my favorite creations.
Thank you for the beautiful review of my song "One Last Time". I really appreciate the feedback.
Hey Faye, Thanks for the review of my song 'Charlie' - I will take on board what you say and give it another listen! Cheers.
