Hey Patti and Beau (and Kim Kelly), Glad you all liked the song, "I'm The Ice Cream Man". It was one of the first songs I ever wrote when I was 14 and working at my first job as a busboy in an ice cream parlor on the weekends. I convinced the owner to let me take a break from washing dishes and pull out my guitar and play 4-5 songs for the patrons. SO, I wrote a song to celebrate the "place" and the fact that someone actually let me ply in front of an audience. Of course, when I was done, I had to put my apron on and clean the tables. Pretty funny. I do remember the first time I played the song, I was scared shitless, because the other 4 songs were common folk songs. When I finished the song, people sat there stunned and didn't clap....at first...then they did..... Anyway, to "Celebrate The Summertime", I have made the song available as a free download at my site....stop by and get a copy. Best, Chet Nichols

Lord only knows...but I have noticed that it can take forever for a notification or comment to appear....I guess BroadJ's server can get overloaded sometimes. The times differ on my 'email notification' of your comment compared to the comment's time. Ah well.
