Hey GMJ...I just listened to your tune "Valarie"...absolutely loved it...and the reason why I was initially drawn to it is because my daughters name is Valerie!!!..LOL...Also I was listening to "Escape" in the Unique category and loved that as well 5/5 my man!!!!
Hey, thanks as always for the support! Very much appreciated!
Hey GMJ... thanx very much for your kind review of "One Last Look"......FYI...with the the exception of 2 songs all the others in the BroGreede catalog were performed way back in the early 2000' when my brother was alive..I plan on recording new material..whether it's with a new musician or 2 or just me ...I'm trying to keep the torch lit!!!!..The most recent tune I wrote was during the pandemic...entitled "RISE UP MY ANGEL"- a tribute to all the allied & essential healthcare workers!. When ya get a chance ...please give a listen!!...a very simple tune...just me!!!! Thank you for being supportive!..and lastly you should know...I'm a big fan!!!...YOU ROCK!!!!!!

Hey, thanks for the support always appreciated! George
Hi there , Mr. Michael-John, my name is Christian. I haven't been a pro member here since 2015 or so for a variety of reasons, as such I don't come back here too often, only to access my old tunes because I didn't back them up before I got rid of the studio gear there were recorded on ( sorry, btw I sometimes have difficulty with my self editing when it comes to writing...lol),.... ANYWAY, the site changes a lot and as a mini member I don't see an option for me to write reviews for the songs of other members I here I am. WHEW!.....I have listened to about 4 of your tunes, I think they're all very good but one in particular I really, really liked was ...shit now I forget the title and in worried if I leave this page to look, I'll lose all this brilliant narrative. I'm thinking your song I'm referring to is called, "embrace the darkness". It's an instrumental and it really rocks. The riffs are killer along with the main melody and solos. I had some other more specific comments but now I forget them now and I can't relisten right this moment due to the same fear mentioned above. As a fellow mostly one man band these days that does a lot of rock instrumentals I know how hard it is to write an instrumental that holds the listeners interest all the way through but you succeeded. I'm sorry this isn't the most cohesive comment but again, great song and the three others were very good too, particularly one where you have a male vocalist working with you who sounds a lot like Geoff Tate from Queensryche. Take care, Sir, keep on rockin and keep on sharing your excellent work with us all. I've been out of the music world for a while but I'm getting ready to come back so when I get some new stuff done, I'll likely become a pro member here again so maybe then I'll see how I can submit individual song reviews, and won't have to leave these novellas on your comments page. Christian PS, I think it would be cool if you added more specific info to your song pages and profile, particularly detailed performance, recording info, gear used, etc.
Hey. Christian, Thanks for the listens and the kinds words. Embrace The Darkness has vox on it. The vocalist is another BJ member Riq Turner. He's really a great writer and vocalist, stop by his page and check him out. Best, George
George, you rock, man! Terrific music that sounds like it came from the old masters...no gimmicks or fluff, just straight to the point rock with punch and finesse. I listened to a couple tunes plus "Walking on Fire" which is haunting and atmospheric. Excellent music! Many thanks for your listen and review of "Ride the Wave." It means much more to get the vote of confidence from a talent like you who knows his stuff. Arden Snow produced it with his magic. He's on here, too. Thank you! John
Hey John, You are too kind! Been doing this for a long time and I try to learn something from everything I listen to. Really enjoyed Ride The Wave, great track. I want to check more of the music on your page. All the best, George
Hi Michael, Thank you for the stars on We Have Been Young, they are much appreciated. Just played a couple of your tracks at random and was very impressed. Great musicianship. Cheers, Bob Bob
My pleasure Bob! Thanks for spinning a couple of my tunes. George
Hey George, thanks for the 5 stars on my new collaboration with Billy Pilgrim (Yesterday, Today, Forevermore). It means a lot!
My pleasure!!
Black Cherry Soda: especially from 2:02-on, has a great emotional punch, George. Do you ever consider top-lining? This is ready built for lyrics/melody line.
Hey Peter, Thanks for the kinds words! By top-lining do you mean co-writing? If that's what you mean then yes. I've done that with a couple of BJ members and am always open to working with other folks. George
Hi George - Yes, top-lining as in adding lyrics and melody. I've done this with a collaborator here on BJ (Chicago Bob) and like to pitch the lyric/melody idea before asking for a co-write commitment (with a split sheet). No harm, no foul if you don't like the idea. I'd be interested in hearing how that has worked out in the past for you, and maybe hearing an example? I'm writing for both sync placements, (I'm in four libraries), and also artist pitches. I'm heavily involved with the SongTown crowd and am getting an ongoing opportunity there to pitch to artists. My email: pboynton@madriver.com. Using the BJ platform to communicate can get clunky!
Hey Peter, Sounds good! I'll send a MP3 of the last thing I did with A BJ member to your email address. George
Hi George - I've been head-down completing co-write projects for bait now. I'm circling back to think about proposing some toppling co-writes. Did you send me the MP3 you mention above? I don't think I got it. My email again is pboynton@madriver.com. Also, I think there was a song of yours, 'New Girl On The Block' on the site. I mentioned it in a comment below. Is it still on here on BJ? Hope you're well! - Peter
oy...the auto-correct on my Mac is so disturbing...(grin) excuse the weird words above: ...for a BIT now...top-line.....
Hey Peter, I did send that email and you responded. You said you had gotten snowed in and we're taking a break. The new girl on the block tune is called Valarie second tune on my page. I'm out of town but I can resend that email next week. Best, George
Hi George - TNX - I thought you had sent the co-write MP3, but then couldn't locate it in my Mail program. Thanks for re-sending when you get back. OK, the new girl = 'Valarie" - Got it! Sorry to seem so disorganized. Not my norm... I'm in London next week, and will re-connect when I get back. I'm putting a check-in with you on my calendar. Do send the MP3 again by email so I have yours. I can never keep track of 'Comments' here on BJ. - Peter pboynton@madriver.com
No problem! I'll get it to you when I'm back. George
WoW! Just listened to the new girl on the block. Heading back for more. Beautifully written, played and produced, George. Hoo Haw.
Hello George, Thank you for your kind review regarding my song Fire Is Your Fortifier. Lindsay (Strange World Music)
How's it going George. It's been a while. I just wanted to say thank you very much for your short but cool review of my equally short (just barely over a minute long tune) called Sick Boy. Thank you for the kind words man. Oh and I listened to the new song you posted about a week or two ago. Very cool tune man, and from what I could tell it was a little step in a different direction for you musically and production wise which I thought was very cool. At least that's what my ears were telling me! Thx again George Ante
Hey Ante, My pleasure, it's a very cool and unusual piece. Thanks for checking out my new tune. The name of the tune is Covid Winter but I spelled it backwards and wondered how many people would get it or comment. Only one so far...lol! Guess I shouldn't be surprised! Keep rockin my friend! George
Thanks for the excellent review my sports rock instrumental. The full vocal version has Yes-like harmonies and lyrics to match the sports feel. It's called "Tonight's The Night" if you feel like checking it out!
Hey George, Just wanted to thank you for the nice Review of my song Moving On. I appreciate the kudos and input on the drum mix. Take Care. Chris P.T.

Say George.....someone's gonna get hurt listening to this Out-of-this-world Rockin' Ditty!! I'll say a prayer for them, hope nobody gets injured?? Hee Hee!! 5 Stars & Likes! My wife Margie does not care for Heavy Metal, but she came out of the bathroom, when I was playing this song at full volume and she commented, Man that's some Bad Ars Guitar Playin'!! I believe you have converted my honey with your incredible Musicianship!! Great Job as usual!!! The Corey's......................

George, "From Here To there" another killer tune Sir!! At the break, it sounds like Yes!!! This is over the Top GIANT!!! 5 stars & Likes!! Man You ARE GREAT!!! In fact while I was playing your tune........My wife came out of the Bathroom saying, Be-Jesus that is HOT!!! Toodles, he Corey's..........
Hey Art, Always appreciate you listening and the kind words. And thanks to your wife for the compliment! Take care, George
George, My wife Margie has an incredible ear for music, although she doesn't play an instrument! Her Mom was an accomplished piano player and her father had a huge tenor voice! She can hear a melody and start singing it immediately!! If I am ever questioning something musical, I call her in for a second opinion, her ears are that GOOD! Oh, she is not a Big fan of Heavy Metal Guitar, but she loved your riff on your tune!!!!! Good Man!! Toodles, The Corey's.............
Hey Art, Sounds like your wife has vey musical genes. Not many people are blessed with a gift like Margie has, pretty amazing stuff! Take care, George
Thanks for the 5 stars on my collaboration with Ian and Tomer George on Air. It was a lot of fun...best wishes!
