Hi Pat, the strings were midi. I know would've sounded better with real strings.
Thanks Pat. The strings were midi indeed. In fact, all were done from midi using my digital piano and DAW.

Hey Winnie1 I guess it is day your side of the world, just going to sleep here. Then I saw you just reviewed yet another of my songs! lol Thank you, I appreciate it. Yes I think that was 1998. I'm surprised you didn't love the singer though, I think she was the best I've ever heard! Maybe it's not coming across through here bc back then it wasn't a digital recording but it was eventually made into an mp3. Anyway, thanks again for taking the time to listen!
Hello there Winnie, thanks for the review of Hero in My Eyes. That song has been licensed and has thousands of streams on internet radio...so I guess some folks like it pretty well. I dedicate it to the honor of my parents, who raised us 9 kids. I wanted it to be like "The wind beneath my wings" but with real character. Mrs Kate
