Hey Johnny,

Thanks for the review of my song, "We Have Never Let Go Of Our Dreams". Glad you enjoyed it.

It is an older song recorded in 1994 on a Tascam 8-track cassette recorder. Glad I studied the recording techniques of George Martin, so I could pack as much sound into that thin cassette tape.

All of those old songs are on the docket to be re-recorded with updated systems.....that is, if I find time to slide one of these older tunes into my new song production schedule.

Best to you in your endeavors.

Chet Nichols

You too. When I read your bio, I realized that you were putting someone's poetry to music. That is a very very hard job. At times people have asked me if I could put their poem to music. Or they liked one of my poems and said it should be a song. To me the two are so totally different. A great poem can be terrible as a song. (at least in my opinion) But a good song can be a good poem. Anyway, I'd be interested in knowing how hard it was trying to do that. Thanks, Mrs. Kate

Elizabeth's poem was beautifully crafted. She sings in a choir, so I think she kept singing in mind. The syntax is terrific. The melody actually came to me almost at once. It was almost effortless, and that's a tribute to her writing, I think.

Wow I would completely *ignore* the review of Time to Cry by Rob Faulkner. Your voice is really nice and strong!

Many thanks for your review of The Shortest Day, You really listened and your advice is very helpful. Happy birthday soon!
I write the lyrics, Dave lefever composes and plays the music, Amy Banks sings this version. It is really happy-making to get such a good and helpful review. Birthe
