To the song: This is actually two songs in one. The background is competing with the singer instead of supporting her. Fewer notes and longer chords are needed, as a critic told Mozart: "Mr. Mozart, too many notes." Whenever the singer is told to raise the volume she does it intellectually instead of using her total body to belt it out (think Janis Joplin). She sounds as if she is holding back what she is capaple of. In all: This song has the potential for a next level.

The Christmas Tick Song is a cute and fun little ditty about what Santa might do if you have been more naughty than nice! As they say in the South, it's a hoot and a hollah! Very unique and imaginative, and as usual, the music transitions/arrangements were killer! It's a fantastic tune overall. Best!

I was going to email this, but I wanted to share my thoughts with the Broadjam fam. Talk about a subtle yet heady mix between atmospheric sounds and gorgeous soaring vocals--a literal labor of love. It was hard not to want to get up and move to that groove! I also immensely enjoyed the lyrics-an ode to the idea that love has to build to last. How am I not hearing this on XM radio's Chill station? If there is a way to reach out to them and get it on there, I would advise it, as it would mingle nicely into their rotation. The symbiosis of duo talent cannot be denied in this track... the bassline put me in mind of TASTE OF HONEY, while the dreamy vocal tones have a familiar pop tonality but are also unique--a little like Minogue and shades of Ellie Goulding, but better. If you need artwork for an EPK kit, I would happily create something for you guys free of charge. I loved it.
