Hi Donald, Thanks tons for you keen and kind review of Separate Roads (Rhodes). I really appreciate your thoughts, and good ones they were! You take good care. Peace and tons of it, Billy
The best to you & your music.
Thank you so much Donald regarding our track Defining cue 2. We're looking to replace the trumpet tracks to make it even better. I really appreciate a jazz musician's feedback, since this genre is not a strong one of mine (I'm gospel :)
The mind is like a parachute...it works best when it's open!
Love that phrase!!!:))
I could not form a constructive opinion about RAP or Country music because I love Jazz. So is it fair to suggest my review would not be in the best interest of a RAP or Country artist? If I don't care for the genre I avoid reviewing those song titles. Food for thought!
Thank you, Donald, for review of "to to to". Some reviewers didn't like that percussion, but I do :) I made it free for you for a couple of days to download. Slava
Donald. Thank you very much for your generous review of 'Sunburst'. You mentioned the horns on the song. You might be surprised and a little disappointed to learn that they were samples. (Recording on a budget, you see). Once again many thanks. Kind regards. David
Thank you for your review of "Colombian Coffee Break" it is much appreciated.
Hi Donald, Hey, thanks for the nice review of the instrumental version of my song, "I Come From Chicago". I'd like to suggest that you stop by my BJ site and listen to the version with lyrics. I wrote it back in the mid-60's and it was quite a hit back then....and people are enjoying this new version that comes from one of my newest , classic-rock-blues CD, "Band In The Basement". Glad you enjoyed the guitar work! Best, Chet Nichols
Donald...you have reviewed a few of my songs now and I needed to thank you for your fair reviews Best to you
Musicians must respect one's insights on authoring. The mind is like a parachute...works best when it's open!

Thanx but you deserve all the credit for your authoring abilities.
Thank you Donald for the generous review of 'I can't lose. I enjoyed your music. Check out "Cup of Coffee' from my new CD. It's a blues/jazz piece. Thanks again and God bless.
Hey Donald, Thanks for the GREAT review of the instrumental version of my song, "The Secrets of Life". The song comes from one of my recent albums, "Walking In Circles"...... stop by my site and enjoy the song with lyrics. Thanks, again, for the nice review. Best of luck. Chet Nichols
Talent is God given... Be thankful. Praise is Human given... Be Humble. Ego is Self given... Be Careful!!
Really like that phrase!:)) so true!
PS Don, since you are a fellow-Chicagoan, I think you will enjoy a couple of my classic blues songs that come from one of my new CDs, "Band In The Basement". Check out: 1. "I'm The Ice Cream Man" - wrote it when I was 14 working in an ice cream parlor in Wilmette. 2. "I Come From Chicago" - Mike Bloomfield who went to my high school, LOVED this song. 3. "I Hurt Too Much To Squeeze"....inspired by BB King (who I toured with), Muddy Waters and Howling' Wolf.
Hi Donald (& fellow Chicagoan), Thanks for the very kind review of my instrumental, "Malibu Sunday". It was inspired by a 5 year residency right on Malibu Beach. I used to sit and watch the quiet waves drift up to the shore and people watch the early risers walking their dogs or jogging....but as the morning and day progressed the beach slowly woke up and became more alive with ALL kinds of people from around the world. And the beat and music became more fun and joyous....as people were clearly enjoying a day on the beach. Every time I listen to "Malibu Sunday", I am left with a little sadness, especially on a cold, snowy Illinois Sunday, that I am not in Malibu. The sand gets into your system and is impossible to extract, ya know? "Malibu Sunday" comes from my CD, "Red Mesa Sunset", a jazz, New Age, World-Fusion instrumental collection that I created for a couple friends who needed healing music because of their critical health conditions. So, the songs a longer by intent and I suggest that people put on some good earphones and listen from start to end in their favorite chair. Anyway, I am glad you like the song and I invite you to stop by my site and enjoy the whole album, "Red Mesa Sunset" ... and some of my other songs and collections. Best, Chet Nichols
Donald, Thank you for your great review of "Slinky Armor", I wasn't expecting that.... Maybe because I have listened to my music so much that the polish has faded a bit on some so thank you for buffing this song off for me! It's so nice when a listener gets my stuff, you're the best. Dave - CenterPeace
Musicians appreciate the efforts of other musicians. Please consider things may have been different had I been just a listener with no musical insights. Keep up the good work!
Hi! Thanks so much for the great review of" why not dance with me"... Appreciate it very much!! Nice to meet you!!... Blessings, Julia :)
Thanx but you deserve all the credit for your abilities. Keep up the good work! And don't forget to always check your ego at the door!
