Hey Douglas, just saw where you made the Saskatchewan Broad Jam Charts at # 3, congrats!! That's got to make you feel good around the Holidays with one of your tunes being noticed!!! Toodles, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!! The Corey's......
Very nice work Doug on Can't Believe, well produced, vocal, lyrics, the whole package, great Poppy Dance tune indeed...kudos bud, Warren Hein
Thanks Warren. Hope you are keeping sane in these trying times. :-)
I don't know how the star rating on the song works, or how to change it, but I really do like your song, which is why I was interested in rating it in the first place. I can't seem to change the star rating, and there don't seem to be any options for doing so. If you can direct me on how to change that, I would be glad to as I really like this song, but the rating system they have in place is not user friendly.
Hi Lisa. Glad you liked it. If you hit the song player again, you should be able to hover over the star rating and change it by clicking on wherever you hover it too. :-)
Doug, Thanks so much for the 5* ratings and playlist adds on my songs "Back To The Blue-FEMALE and "I Ain't That Kinda Girl". Much appreciated, Hank
Hey Douglas, wonderful orchestral composition! Feels like I'm in the woods around Lake Louise, it's just up ahead around the bend.... Oh, the vocals sound enchanting, are they Real or Memorex (Loops)?? So....only one last question, how do you get so many plays in such a short time?? Hee Hee!! Happy Trails Sir, Art & Margie Corey........
great work as always Doug, this time on The Depths of Consciousness...stars and kudos bud...++++++ whoa so well produced...
whoa brilliant work on Katukina buddy...wow, you've either moved or have some killer programmes...well done!!

great work, i'd find a very good guitar player to replicate this...your countryman Wade Mosher could knock this outta the park...just being honest my friend, the composition is wonderful. wh
Hi Doug, Distant Memories - another classical gem, and a perfect name for the song. Hope you're doing well! Jim
Thanks so much for the compliment on it. Hope you are keeping well too Jim :-)
Distant Memories a wonderful and heartfelt effort buddy, poise, patience and romance/melancholy abound. Well done, wonderful work. wh

All good here! Except writing block musically but lyrics abound--hope they find a friendly few notes LOL WH
Thanks, Doug, for the stars and playlist adds of "Freefall" and "Breathless" - I appreciate that you listened. I love your song, "To Love Is To Know Loss" - so beautiful...one of my new favorites. "Distant Memories" is deep...love the progression. Susan
My pleasure Susan, and thanks so much for your support for my two piano pieces :-) I've gotta say, I really love the combo of you and Alex together. I hope you two take on more projects together :-)
Good to hear, Doug! Alex and I have been pen pals for awhile, and I was thrilled when he asked me to write lyrics to his music. I guess time will tell :)
Hi Doug, thanks for supporting Drifting, it's much appreciated. Bob
Thank you for the recent adds... Christ be with you. 6
thanks very much, Douglas, for the stars on Weightless. Much appreciated.
Hey Doug, how are you? Thanks for the stars and playlist adds for Myth. Glad you like the song. Chris did a great job helping produce this one. Your classical songs are all excellent. Of course I'm a rock guy, do you have any plans to write a new pop/rock song? Jim
I've been purposefully avoiding that because I can't pump those out on my own. All the pop/rock stuff I do requires extra expense and production and musician hiring. My wife is pretty adamant about us saving up for a house down payment right now, so that means I have to do things as cheaply as possible. :-)
Completely understand - good luck with your songs...and future house!
great tune Doug--what piano/type you using...it reminds me of my grandpa's old upright Lester/Philadelphia...i like this Realize tune mucho buddy...well done for those of us with patience, very nice production and build...bravo! wh
Thanks Warren! This was a Bosendorfer.
Hi Doug - To Realize the Soul: a very moving composition and I love the title. Nicely done! Jim
Thanks so much Jim!

Hi Doug, thanks a lot for the 5 stars and PL add. Appreciate that. I hope you're ok, sorry I haven't been on your page lately..I will have a good listen this week. For some reason I can't do it on my iPad any longer. Thanks again. Darren:)
Hi Douglas, Thanks for the *'s and playlist add for "your Heart Will Bleed" Much appreciated!
cheers Doug, love the deep base pad in this, as well of course the synth work...kudos and hello, hope you are not freezin' in the jaws of the moose! xoxo WH
Thanks Warren. May your New Year be bright as well. I always know that any review on your part is honest, so it's very much appreciated.
Hello Doug Arbell Merry Christmas 🎠and enjoy the Holidays !! Barry Douglas at Broadjam (Artist )
Doug, been too long. Following up on a request I saw...To Be Alive@ 0:58-- spread the chord (10ths) then bring back together. 1:43 can French horn give way to oboe? 2:07 are the strings doing a tremelo? try straight bow... could a trumpet double the French Horn here? The violin is solo and high... I would personally use an ensemble, or bring the violin down and try doubling with another instrument, like clarinet or flute, experiement. Very nice piece of music!
Congrats on the top 10 ol' friend.
Doug, thank you for your positive mark on the Unfolding Serenade. All the best to you. Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving;-)
