Hey Nathaniel - i have enjoyed hearing your music after you reached out to me. stylistically we are in different places but i appreciate how well done your music is. Dave: Thank you for reaching out. It's always great to hear from aspiring artists & talented individuals on Broadjam. Interactions like this are why I reached out. So I can meet capable, likely passionate, and professionally active individuals such as yourself. I know it may be hard to imagine, but I absolutely love blues, I've even spent a fair amount of time engineering and mastering blues. I've yet to take the helm as the producer of that genre, but much like you, I have a grand appreciation for many styles and approaches to music. Although... In my defense, I once took about 30 seconds of blues lead guitar and turned it into a killer club cut. Wouldn't call it blues though, I honestly deal more in hybrids when it comes to my own craft. It would seem, as a producer surviving in such a competitive market, it is always good to diversify your skill set (Says with a smile.) I've tried. Let me know if there's ever anything you think I can do to help you achieve your goals. Perhaps a new "sound" with the same performances might be an avenue worth exploring at some point. Perhaps I'll have need for blues performers the next time I end up in the music supervisors chair? You never know in this world. I like to keep my options open though, pull up on that rope if I can, and meet some good people on the way if possible.
