Thank you for the kind review. The piano is actually from the Ableton Live Grand Piano pack.
Ok thx, I'll check it out! :)
Hi zeiko, thanks for the review! Never did sidechaining before, never really took the time to look intimit. Looked it up on youtube and I see what you mean, kick and bass and maybe kick and pad could do the trick. Will definitely do a remix and play around with that. Thanks for the idea! Regards Floris
Intimit = into it
Hi Zeiko, Did a remix of my song Circles. Used side chain compression as you suggested. You can check the result here: http://www.broadjam.com/artists/songs.php?artistID=77316&mediaID=579933 1 Regards Floris

Hello, Thanks for the review on my song Evolutionary Tendencies! You are the secound person who says its very similar to another famous song. I ohnestly don't have any idea which it could be, so if you happend to remember the name of the song please tell me :) Regards, Karl-Gustav Johansson
I keep trying to find that song. I can hear it in my head and some of the lyrics but can't remember the name of the song. I'll keep trying because it bugs me not being able to remember!
Hello! Thanks for the review of Evolutionary Tendencies, very good feedback! You mentioned that the song is a cover and that you recognize the scale from somewhere. When I created the song I actually didn't have any another similar song in mind, the only one similar song that I know, is an old song of mine which is called "Zvezda". But I can definitely imagine that there are other songs using the same chords. Out of curiosity I wonder if you remember any other song that uses the same chords? :) Regards, Karl-Gustav Johansson
You know, thats a great question, I went back and checked out that piano solo you laid out and for the life of me couldn't conjure up where I had heard those scales from, only that something very popular back in the 80s used a lot of the same progressions. Considering there are only so many notes, so many scales, and so many chords... It was bound to happen right? If it comes to mind (it'll likely happen in the middle of rush hour traffic) I'll be sure to chime in. Otherwise the track was great save a few modest reservations in your arrangement and engineering. I'm glad my feedback was useful and hope to hear from you more in the review system. N
