Hey Katilyn, I see you reviewed my version of Cher's "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves" It is a cover song for a cd I am working on....it seems you find a lot of songs dated and yes I would say it is dated, it is a song I have liked since it first came on the air waves...what is great about music is you can make any song your own as long as you pay the man...I have done very little of my own songs because others are better at it then I and I play no instruments...My producer has worked around The Who. the Animals Rick Tyler in his day...I have given a listen to some of your songs when they all had 0 plays in front, so it shows you are a newbie so welcome to BJ and what a tough town to be a rocker....but good luck on your journey in BJ....in music... We just heard that word on the Nightly News! I believe it was on MSNBC last week!! That seems relevant, if it was said last week.......... WE feel that our music is rather original, but everyone has their own Musical Style and likes in Music!!! We listened to your music and it is quite good, along with your vocals!! However, your music sounds a lot like Pat Benitar, so do you feel your music is dated.....?? Pat Benitar has been around for over thirty years??? Hey! Happy to connect! I believe I said "too dated to be considered pop music" rather than "too dated" in general, right? I can't remember...but regardless, that's what I meant! Just that it could be classified as a different genre. And in that vein...I don't classify my rock songs as pop, for that reason...I have a retro sound in my rock songs and am not trying to pass as pop ;) thank you for the compliment on my voice and hair! I fully agree with you that we all have our own unique sound and don't need to change it, because there's a place for all of us.

Dear Katilyn.........Will do..........regarding the word "Hep"! Great to become Broad Jam members!! Our Wonderful Sax player on probably 30 songs, was playing with Billy Vera & The Beaters. The Beaters had a Number # Song in the 80's and Jerry was playing with them on Johnny Carson's show some 13 times in one year!! Jerry recently passed away from Covid Virus.what a Pisser!!! Hi there, Just a quick one to say thank you for the review of "Give Me Rain". Appreciate the feedback and comments about the genre perhaps not being quite right. I would agree that it is not necessarily 'straight' pop but sometimes the options of genre are quite tricky to choose from! Anyway, I also wanted to say WHAT A VOICE! Loving listening to "Wrong Girl"!
Totally agree about the genres being tough to choose from and different on each streaming service and website, etc - I feel your pain and struggle with that, too! Thank you for the compliment on my voice :)
