Thank you. What song are you referring to?

Thanks for reviewing It'll Never End. I agree with the finger snaps I will go back and put some in. I appreciate your time you took to review it. Toni

I am so glad you wrote! I should have added in the comments that you have about 10 seconds of silence before the song begins. You will lose a lot of music supervisors with this because they will not be patient. Take it out and let the song start right away.

I think this songs strength is that it switches between many different motifs in the middle section, but begins and wraps nicely with the main riff. Kept picturing European and exotic locales/vistas while hearing this. Would be great for spy thriller. "The Spy Who Dumped Me" x "Goldeneye"

What song is this referring to?

Bob Bentley posted over 30 days ago to CodeSwitcher

Hi Folks,

Thanks for a great review of Moonlight, glad you liked it. You did get me wondering when you mentioned you wanted real guitar licks - to the point I went back to the stems to check! I can confirm what you heard was indeed a real Fender Strat through a Behringer amp. Perhaps its got a bit more overdrive than would better suit the track but it is the real thing!
(That's not to say that I don't use keyboard guitar sometimes, but the sounds in a Yamaha Genos are pretty damned good, and often hard to tell from the real thing. Believe it or not, this song has only Genos guitars on it because the keyboard demo sounded so good I just left them on https://www.broadjam.com/player/pla yer.php?play_file=98970_724775_2 )
Thanks again for the review, much appreciated.
Bob
Very impressive music library BTW with a great strike rate as well.

I was wondering because sometimes it did sound like a guitar to me. Good job on the song.

Thanks for your thoughtful review of Elf's Jig. I appreciate the feedback! Looks like you have quite a resume. I will have to check out your tunes!

I have had good luck taking thoughtful tunes like yours and speeding them up for the "happy" pitches. I keep both versions to pitch.

I have never had that tip (or thought to) change tempos for a wider audience but I'm going to try it. Thanks again for the great idea!

CodeSwitcher posted over 30 days ago

You can change the tempo in Audacity without changing the pitch.

Jeana Potthoff posted over 30 days ago

Oh I'll have to check that out. Does it have to be a midi track? I only record using audio tracks (software program is Ableton) so I've never edited anything but volume. Thanks for the advice!

CodeSwitcher posted over 30 days ago

No, not midi. You just upload a wav file

CodeSwitcher posted over 30 days ago

By the way, Audacity is free

Jeana Potthoff posted over 30 days ago

Thank you very much for the help and good advice!
