Kida Born in Inglewood, CA, Kida was exposed to a life of drugs and crime at a young age. At the age of four, Kida's father was tragically murdered. Soon after, Kida, his mother and two older sisters moved to their hometown of St. Louis, MO. While attending elementary school in St. Louis, Kida picked up the trumpet. The love affair with music had begun.

Fast forward, Kida was noticed for his rapping skills and was asked to be an opening act for DJ Quik and Snoop Dogg. At that moment, Kida knew his calling was music. He would later work with Shaquille O'Neal on his "Respect" album. Kida went on to become a street promoter for Roc-A-Fella Records, a position that was offered to him by the label's CEO, Dame Dash. He later was recognized for his talent when Death Row Records President Suge Knight personally offered Kida a recording contract. After much consideration Kida respectfully declined and continued to work on his craft independently.

Kida has since had the opportunity to work closely with former Aftermath producer Focus, CEO of a.Fam Entertainment. While steadily performing, he has opened for the likes of Slick Rick and R&B singer Dwele. Kida is ready to headline the industry with his blend of live music and gritty street lyrics. All while staying away from the repetitive subjects of drugs and guns, the very things that have helped destroy the lives of his family.
