Thanks for your review of Storm Warning. I don't really try to follow a pattern when I write, it just comes out. I guess I could try some day to do so, or to fit into a specific genre, but it's not important to me. Since reading a few reviews, I've repeated one of the lines when I sing the song out...thank you for the very helpful criticism!!! (and I guess I will work on my pitch! Didn't know it was off....)

hey Nanci, just listened to Storm Warning again, and i hope i told you that the writing is superb and the lyrics that i hear better now are wonderful...still think the hook/title might be the two bottles and a glass thing, but hell, just my humble opinion...anyway, great bones to this tune, keep up the good work, ma'am....Warren Hein

Thanks Jo Ann! It's been so cold here, and it was so nice out when that picture was taken, I thought it might be a nice change. But when I'm outside now, I no longer have that expression on my face!!! :)
It is a nice change, and I bet you are looking forward to Spring. My sister lives in Newtown, and I bet she has that same expression you describe during this Winter. Just keep repeating: "The tulips and daffodils are on their way!"

no, I'll look it up. I was just fooling with my keyboard on that song. It sounded too folky on my guitar. I played it at a few open mics and just got the 'huh?' reaction. So I did it on the keyboard. It's better I think. thank you!!!
