Hi Earl Thanks for your comments re Beware Your Heart. I totally understand what you are saying about real instruments - I think the song has real potential (it was a finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest this year) but have to get my ideas across as best I can with my DAW at home when writing/producing a demo as I am not a performer/producer - just a songwriter! Any way - any further advice would be much appreciated. Thanks again Richard

Richard, Thank you for reviewing my song "By my side". It is a rather simple song because I wrote it when I was 16. I was hesitant about doing a demo for it because I was worried it might be too "easy". I would be interested in any ideas you have to improve it. Thank you again and keep the music coming.
Just to let you know that the UK Songwriting Competition results have been released and I made Semi-finalist in 2 categories and finalist in 1 category!!!! Comin Out Fightin' - semi finalist in Country category Dance - semi finalist in Pop category Beware Your Heart - FINALIST in Love Songs category As this was my first ever entry into a songwriting competition I am so pleased that all 3 of my entries achieved good positions in the contest!! This has really boosted my confidence in my ability. :-) All 3 songs are on my profile.
