The wedding was lovely. The song was sung inviting all the married couples to dance as I sang it. The wedding was planned and if it would have been one week later, it would not have happened. when they have been married many years they will be able to say they got married and right away had to deal with this pandemic. A good story for grandchildren but hard to think of that when you are going through it.
I'm so glad it wasn't cancelled! So many young people have had to forgo their graduations, proms, weddings, honeymoons,,,I feel so bad for them. I'm glad you had a nice time, she must have been so touched :)

Good Morning Quarantines! There are so many beautiful and fun tunes on this site but thought i'd take the time to shine a light on some I feel are important and why. I used to be able to copy and paste the link but the system seems to have changed so I"ll just write the song and artist: MARIANNE By Greg Lambert: This song is portrayed by a young man whose girlfriend and he, faced with an unexpected pregnancy, had chosen abortion. It is non-judgmental, just moving and thought provoking, and a rarity coming from a male point of view. The instrumentation is bouncy and light giving contrast to the controversial and painful subject. Just an outstanding, special song. AT A TIME LIKE THIS Dianne MacAdam: This song depicts a woman facing a terminally ill loved one and leaving the obvious unsaid. Chilling. And unique while remaining universal. ONCE The LovePops w/ Nick Fuse: This duet with Dianne MacAdam tells the story of a young man looking back over his relationship with his dead (or dying) lover and realizing how fragile we are and how short the time we have is. I could be wrong but it seems he is telling their story to their young child. You have to listen a few times for it to really hook you and then it becomes part of the fabric of your life. And for women (and men too of course...). COMPLICATED MAN Peter (PGO) Olach: A man laments the loss of his relationship and expresses his internal feelings of weakness. It is very raw and showcases that men (ladies?) are actually very emotional despite their cool exteriors. Love it! Btw Complicated Man is hard to find on search. Look under albums and it is track #2 of album by same name on Starburst Records Well check 'em out... if you already have, treat yourself again. And I'd like to thank those artists (Who I'm fortunate enough to call friends :) for digging deep and putting in the time to create these masterpieces to share with us! Happy songwriting!
