Looking for a good woman who wants to record it. Can you believe she 100% Christian? I am ok with making it your own but like an acoustic style but I am no producer hehe.

Song was written 18yrs ago and she has come and gone. I am disabled and very ill. All I do is write and play & sing a little with friends and family. Will I Ever, I'm Already Over You are songs written for female leads. Blue Ridge Mountain Skies is xlnt duo, Blue Ridge Mountain Home recieved 50 out of 50 from a guy said he has reviewed over a 1000 songs here and that is the only 50/50 he has ever given. Everyone singing on those songs are now with Sony, RCA and I was left behind cuz the labels have all their own writers. Too, bluegrass for them. The Dixie Chicks were supposed to do I'm Already Over You but that was right when Natalie Maines shot off her big mouth about the President. Judge Judy wrote me and loves the song to this day.

I am sorry you are ill... Covid is hard enough with out being ill on top of everything...so sad you can't have that singer... there are many female singers on bj that do Colman's with writers so I would ask around...I wish you the best...

Also, I love playing and singing Night in White Satin also and I am so glad to see some one do a Helem Reddy cover. She is a very important artist back when I was younger, in the womens movement. I am Woman is a song should be taught in high school to every girl who goes onto living their lives.

Nights in White Satin is a GREAT acoustic guitar song. I would LOVE to hear your version of I am Woman. Its a Hall of Fame songs in so many genres and it is one of the most important songs ever for women, Back then it got things kickin' for women. I loved it. I still watch it on Youtube. Also, I am 63 and do you know the all-time played song on the radio? It's not the Beatles, "Yesterday" It's You've Lost That Loving Feeling" by The Righteous Brothers. Go to You Tube and put the song title in then the word reaction.

I am very flexible to do something with any of the songs on my page here. I have nearly died twice in last 8yrs and I am having surgery again next month. I have good songs that have all hit #1 at one time or another. I even got a 50/50 from an artist who told me he had never giver 50/50 for any song and he did for MY Blueridge Mountain Home. I can't believe no one has taken the duet of Blueridge Mtn. Skies and done something with it. (503) 747-3012

I couldn't sleep one night and just wrote those for fun. I actually give them to you to do want you want. If you see something that stirs your creative side have fun with em Delete them if you want or change em, do anything you want. I love the fun and passion you two have that's all. I am always writing lyrics out like those and I will give them to anyone who thinks they can do something. Life is very short, Very short. I am a fan of yours and just thought you coould have with em. I wrote these other lyrics and someday I will find someone who make a chart topper. Here they are:

"If I had a wish, I'd wish for in this world
a loving Mom and Dad for every boy and girl"
Stuff the lyrics in a folder and you never know... you just might, one day.... I am in really bad pain and preparing myself for another surgery. Life is really beautiful eh?

Looking for someone to record me before its too late for me. Its taken me aprox 20yrs to finally get to where my singing is liked. I am disabled and live with 24hrs never ending chronic pain. I had to go on the dang Fentynal again after nearly dying after being 300mcgs of Fentynal and and ten pills a day of Norco/Lortab for over 10yrs. I have had doctor after doctor after doctor tell me I should not be alive. They told me when I was admitted into the hospital the very same day my Friend Doc Watson passed away. I refused to die. I still have so much living to do. I don't play very well at but play well enuff I am have nothing but 100% FUN! I love Martin Guitars. Martin guitar are Americanna and should entered into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. My health is bad and me and my beautiful bride of 40yrs are moving to Oregon. Can some one pleez contact me about recording me own songs? I can't tell you much this would mean to.

It's important to keep in mind that Broadjam is a low stakes arena, and that's a good thing. The impression that our music makes on others is something that we can get here with a blinded honesty. This is how we get away from self-inflation, girlfriend/mom smoke blowing, and delusions of grandeur. When we ask for a review we ask for someone's opinion. If the review is respectful we need to honor that opinion even if we don't agree. I read John's positive comments, and they were glowing feedback. And it's a very good tune. Quibbling over points is not worth anyone's time.

Wow! It doesn't get any better than full marks so thank you so much for your review of Stay With Me. Your comments are very flattering and are very much appreciated. The song was produced in the UK believe it or not which is a real compliment to a British songwriter to be compared with Nashville. Thank you once again and good luck with your own works. Dear James Burns, I just listened to your tune, "My Blue Ridge Mountain Home" nice song!! I was looking thru the credits on your song and noticed Galen Breen Gator Hole Studios. We have worked with Galen in the past too! Check out our song, "Trumbo's Tune", that was produced by him!! You reviewed our tune, and made a few suggestions, we will go back and take some of the Darn Reverb off...we tend to over use re-verb!! Thanks for the input!! Again, like your song!!

PS. you live in Long Beach Ca., ever used Marty Rifkin Productions in Santa Monica California??

I am glad you got hear my Bluestone Mt it seems to fit in what you play...I loved the song before I ever knew a name. There is a place in Tenn called the Dixie Cafe and every Friday nite for 2 hrs you can listen to Bluegrass music and being from the north I didn't understand the words at the time so I asked the name at the end of the night and that is when I found Bluestone Mt. I have another version I recorded that is a little more Celtic...again thank you for the listen a friend in music...Delta

Hi Paul, Thank you for the great review of my wedding song duet. It was written for my daughters wedding day. What an honor for a father writing his daughters wedding song. I wrote it in 50's 60's styl for a reason. Very cliche I know but thats the way it had to be. A young couple having a simple conversation about their big day. I was married young and every young couple in love cant wait to say "You are my wife, You are my Husband, I am your husband and I am your wife. Its just something a young couple wait to say to eachother. Thanks again, Jim and I hope you get a chance to listen to more of my songs. Blue Ridge Mtn Home, Blue Ridge mtn Skies, Will I Ever, Already Over You (Which Judge Judy says she likes) Cheers, Jim

Well Jimmy! Thanks for your review of "Country Kitchen." That piece usually gets fantastic reviews, but when I find someone like you who doesn't like it... I get so happy because then I know I'm doing something right. It's an old recording and need be done again... but I love it! Clive Greensmith, the cellist of the Tokyo String Quartet, plays it all the time. I listened to a few tracks of yours... not bluegrass huh'? Well, you're probably right, but if you can't see the influence, let's just say you are blind... metaphorically speaking of course. I'll give you two cents as well my friend... try something new, a bit more original... What you write has been done to death. I'd like to hear Jimmy Burns:)
