Rosanna. Sitting on a fence, you must step down. Hope is Lost when we try to Fix someone else. Only God can change another, but he gives them Free Will, so they tell lies for themselves. A beautiful tribute to the search for perfect love in imperfect man.

Nick, what a darling you are. I agree with you 100%. It's hard to step away when it's your own family down the toilet. How is SF treating you?

Rosanna, Beautiful new work! Espeicialy Alma, Corazon y Vida, which is so sad you don't need to understand Spanish to get it. Soul, Heart and Life, a lullaby to be sung over one's deathbed. Sing incessantly! St. Nick

Hi Rosanna I just listened to your "Hush"and your sound was lovely. I did the same song only I used Scots Gaelic to start. The is for "The Mist Covered Mountain"s of Home" same melody. From my understanding "Hush Hush or "Smile in your Sleep" was about the Scottish Highland clearances, so I was surprised to see your use of Irish trad. but who is to say it was about both. If you get a chance please give mine a listen and tell me what you think.... Best Regards......Delta

Nick, thanks. My gawd, that is a very rough scratch recording for my next album; I'd even forgotten it was up here; eek. I need to polish it up a bit! I wrote this during very severe post partum depression when my husband was in a 9-mo drinking binge and I was afraid he'd hurt us; the kids were very young and not sleeping the night; it was a terrible time. Fuck. Looking forward to reviewing your profile & music; looks pretty cool. I lived in San Fran from 1998-2004; LOVED it.

I love the raw emotion and the rough cut. NO MORE is my most polished tune. The original was too rough for virgin ears, so my pal Jim Pearson polished it, but left the guitar a little rough, just for me. I only write songs when life sucks, because why would I work when I am having fun? Be blessed. - N
