Wow, thank you so much for the comments and the 5* rating. I wrote the song in memory of a young man who was actually killed on his first combat Jump into Panama. I was a brand new Navy Recruiter in Fayetteville when the incident occurred. I remember the look on the face of his Army Recruiter when we received the news. He died before his boots touched the ground, but not before nearly emptying the clip on his M16.
What a tribute of the sacrifices our service men have made that we may live free. Add more reverb on vocals , bring them up and center, this is a song with very moving truth. Your vocals are good, go for it. Great work, God Bless Abram Band.
