Oh my...I just saw this George. I'm so sorry. I don't get on Broadjam like I used to. Although I might be back more now. I am retiring my radio shows and have on last one I'm doing as a best of the best from 4 years worth of music. So I'm not taking any new submissions as of now. Although, when school is all said and done in a few years and I make the adjustment to my schedule again, I may bring the show back at that time and will be in touch with you then. :)

Thank you Tony. :) It was the first piece of music I ever wrote, back in 1977, when I was 13 years old, by ear, heard it in my head and plunked it down. :) That means a lot to me. Thanks. And yes, it was just selected, which is my first piece to be selected and I'm very excited about that.

I have removed all of my songs from review. I am tired of people who can't say anything positive and are out to boost their rankings in the top ten lists, because they think they are more perfect than others on this site. I write my music for me and don't care for people telling me that its boring, or that I need to change this because they went to school for composition, or just want to up their rankings. If you like it great, if you don't then move on. If you think its boring, then hit the stop button and get off my page. Thank you.

Couldn't have said it better myself David. Love the "school for composition remark"! I don't think Stevie Ray or Hendrix went to such a school either... but they did pretty well for themselves. Shrug off such remarks and b.s. comments towards you're own music... music is so much more than that anyway. We can all improve the review process by applying your remarks to our own reviews... I listened to a few tracks, sounds great to me. I like Oxygen Shift. Though being really laid back, it just made me a little more... anxious. But that's a good thing. Saves me money on coffee. =) Cheers, Mike

Thank you for the review of "Soundscape in the Clouds". You are correct, I am heading toward no melody on that piece. Just for meditation background music. Although, I could put some underlying melody to it and make it sound prettier. :) Thanks Klaus, I appreciate it.

yep - experienced a warm chuckle when the machine unmasked who I had reviewed. really good stuff, my good friend!
That one and "Not Givin a Shuffle" were the two tracks that I spent almost a month on each, creating. It had to sound right and click with me on all levels or I wasn't releasing them. :) Still two of my most favorite tracks. That's Blue Lou Marini on Sax and Mr. Fabulous himself on the trumpet, along with the Stax Volt section, Tom "Bones" Malone. And I actually found out that the guitar is Steve Cropper, when I did a little research. Actually got to meet him when I did the Bruise Brothers stuff back in the 90s. He's a hoot. Gotta love the blues...gotta love it. :)
what fun and great research. and, like I said in the review, 'could easily be the heartbeat for many of our great urban scenes such as Chicago, Detroit, NYC, Atlanta, KC, and. . . great articulation on the keyboard, great manipulation of samples.' goes to show I still some ear left. now, I gotta go listen to the other track you just mentioned.
