For HardyBoy music is a canvas on which a story is painted, every song with its own unique narrative. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY Al spent a great deal of his time listening to artists like Michael Jackson, Al Green, Angela Winbush, and Quincy Jones, all of whom continue to influence him to this day. As a young boy listening to the records sung by these formidable artists, Al saw how music can convey a wide range of emotions and experiences in a powerful way. He was able to identify with the self-reflection and depth in every song, coming to view music as a release, soothing and cathartic.
Al has worked with various elite producers, managers, and songwriters, allowing him to grow and hone his craft, building up his own personal style.
Al hopes to give his music to the world, to share his story with the masses through song.
